Leaving on a jet plane...

Well, I am leaving on a jet plane... with 38 other people.  I'm sitting in the hotel breakfast room, even though there is no breakfast, and writing my very first Moldova blog!  yikes?!?!  I can't believe that I got myself into this and I can't believe that I'm actually going.  Seriously.

Everyone is really nice, though there is a lot more character diversity than I would have thought.  Sidenote* Carolyn called ME the hippie of the group- I feel like it takes a lot to be the biggest hippie in a group of peace corps kids.  We range every political spectrum and hair color.  Everyone is really great though all the nervous laughing could be inhibiting my decisions.

Last night I took everyone out for dinner- well they took me to the Hard Rock Cafe.  Which I suppose is good for a last American meal.  There is no bad time for mac'n'cheese.  The we preceded to bar hop philly... McCools, Fergies, McGullians.  Then when we asked a guy where the coolest place in Philly was they pointed us straight towards WOODY'S.  Apparently a very popular gay bar... and I gotta say only kids moving to moldova would be o.k. with pilling into a gay karaoke bar without any actual gay people.  Huntley would be so proud.  That's all for now... courage (name that sign off).
